Dr. Cesar Yammal is the Regional Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Global Development Gateway, an initiative led by the World Bank and the United Nations Development Program. Cesar works with development actors in civil society, governments and donor organizations across sectors to create Country Gateways or country development internet portals in the Region. Prior to joining the Gateway team, Cesar has been working in Education, Science & Technology in Argentina, Chile, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and the State of Maryland in the USA. Cesar holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences from Cordoba National University in Argentina and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland at College Park. .
